Staying here while exploring the nearby temples like Wat Pra Singh was a delight. The atmosphere of the guesthouse truly felt like a cozy home, and Pissamorn's breakfast of toasted homemade bread and fresh fruit was a lovely way to start each day. The location was perfect for accessing the bustling Sunday night market and various attractions, making it a breeze to immerse yourself in local culture. I appreciated the comfort of the bed, which made those evenings after a day of sightseeing feel cozy. This place provided a warm, inviting atmosphere that's hard to beat.

Homemade breakfast offerings highlight local flavors beautifully.
The bathroom's open design made for very uncomfortable moments. The tall wooden staircase was daunting and quite dangerous, especially for those not steady on their feet. Finding the property after dark was quite tricky and frustrating, impacting our initial experience.

A delightful stay with Pissamorn
During my time at Pissamorn House, I woke up to the warm smiles of the staff and the scent of fresh coffee filling the lobby. Ms. Pissamorn was incredibly helpful, sharing stories and invaluable tips about Chiang Mai's hidden gems.
The only downside was the slightly firm pillows, which took some time to get used to, but everything else made it easy to overlook this minor discomfort.

Mrs. Pissamorn is such a lovely hostess! The location of the guest house is perfect for exploring the old town. Everything’s within walking distance, and the Sunday night market is just steps away. My room, the Deluxe Twin Room, was clean and cozy, with amenities like a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle. I appreciated the cold water and bananas available for guests. However, the old wooden staircase can be a bit steep, and finding the place at night was challenging initially. I also struggled with the mattress firmness, which wasn't ideal for my back. Despite those minor inconveniences, the overall warmth and hospitality made my stay memorable.

My wife says that the stairs were a bit tricky for our little one.

Perfect spot in old town!
We stayed 4 nights and loved how easy it was to walk to all the sights in the old town. The staff was super friendly and offered really useful tips. The snack bar had great munchies. Only thing was the shower pressure could've been better, but the cozy vibes definitely made up for it!
